Installation on IBM Cloud Kubernetes

IBM Catalog

One37 is a proud partner of IBM and under this relationship we are working together to support the deployment of our products on IBM Cloud infrastucture in a number of ways.

  • In IBM Kubernetes Service (IKS) (available now)
  • In IBM OpenShift Service (ROKS) (coming soon)
  • In IBM Hyper Protect Virtual Servers (HPVS) (coming soon)

Deployments in these environments are seamlessly achieved through our listing in the IBM Cloud Catalog.

info

The IBM Cloud Catalog is a marketplace of IBM and third-party services that you can use to build and run your apps. The IBM Cloud Catalog is available in the IBM Cloud console and in the IBM Cloud CLI.

Cloud Kubernetes Service (IKS) on IBM Cloud

The installation is performed to your own IKS Cluster instance through the IBM Cloud Catalog where we have 4 published items listed below:

The two database items are used to create the databases needed for the One37 Business Studio and One37 Business Connector. These are optional items and can be skipped if you already have a PostgreSQL and/or Redis database.

At least one Business Studio is required to be installed.

The Business Studio is the main component of One37 and is used to create and manage the One37 Business Connectors.

At least one Business Connector is required to be installed.

The Business Connector is the component that exposes the APIs to the backend systems. Multiple Business Connectors can be managed by the same Business Studio.

warning

Licensing Required The installation of the Business Studio and Business Connector will not be successful without you obtaining a valid license key and container registry access credentials from One37.

Installation

The installation is done through the IBM Cloud Catalog. The installation is done in 3 steps:

  1. Create the databases
  2. Create the Business Studio
  3. Create the Business Connector

Create the databases

The databases are optional. If you already have a PostgreSQL and/or Redis database, you can skip this step. You will however need to provide the connection details of the database to the Business Studio and Business Connector by modifying the installation parameters during the installation. See the Business Studio and Business Connector sections for more details on the parameters to modify in the installation

The databases are created through the IBM Cloud Catalog. You can find the links to the databases above.

The databases are created in the same way as any other IBM Cloud service. You can read the IBM Cloud documentation to learn more.
